Chapter 0.3

Welcome back to H&D! Hopefully, you didn’t miss me too much. I’m pretty sure it’s only been a week or so since my last update…
Anyway, let’s jump right in. I’m sure the suspense is killing you, what with that mysterious picture up there…

Yep, we’re starting off again with this ridiculously bright nursery. Because it’s very pretty all the same. 🙂

As such, Wumbo and Leedle spend a lot of their time here. Or, rather, I forget about them and they end up playing with their imaginary friend dolls and/or skilling.
Because I’m a baaaaaaad SimGod.

Oh, and yeah, I FINALLY made it over to Nina’s place to adopt a puppy. Meet Dexter, everybody!
I find him to be ADORABLE. *.*
Dexter: Arf?

Dexter: Oh no, where am I being taken by this strange blonde woman?!
Dina: He’s so cute that he’s causing me to ignore my irritating ringing phone!

I told you guys that I would be squeeing over Pets for a while, right, since I only just recently installed it.

I just can’t help myself, though, puppies are SO CUTE. *.*
Yeah, I do that irl too.

Leedle: Imma skill master. I mastered those skills.

I’m convinced that Dexter’s following me around on purpose. He must really like the camera.

Wumbo: Uhhh…
Yeah, I’d be worried about heading over to him too, Wumbo.

Moar Dexter spam? No, it couldn’t possibly be…

…Okay, I lied.

I just can’t help myself (and neither can Herp!).

DEXTER. Stop walking in on all of my toddler skilling pictures! While you add an element of cuteness that would otherwise be lacking in this family, THIS CHAPTER IS NAMED AFTER LEEDLE, NOT YOU.

…It’s very hard to stay mad at that face…

In case you didn’t know… DERP FOREVER.

Herp’s still giving makeovers. That’s Lola Bell, originally from Bridgeport.

Either Herp farted, or she’s digging her new makeover. Or somebody’s pants are on fire.

Ahhh, some things never change… even though I never bothered to learn your name, I’ve come to love you, Paparazzi.

I told you they were lonely children. I hope this doesn’t lead to any mental health problems in the future… you know, aside from talking to invisible people, which at this rate is gonna happen.

Hmmm… a sudden craving for watermelon? What could this mean?

Dexter: Arf!
Looks like somebody’s having a birthday…

Well, that’s peculiar.

I mean, I’ve heard of siblings being close, but this is ridiculous!

Yep, the watermelon had a meaning (mainly that Dina and Herp both had the wish for a girl). Dina’s expecting again, the last pregnancy for this generation, too!

Deer: ‘Sup?

Oh, yeah, Dexter is still stalking me. And I built a kitchen.

The dog’s super expressive.

Let’s give Leedle some face time, since, you know… I think he’s only been in two pictures so far.
Leedle: I will destroy you all!!!

Wow Dina, you’re massive. I hope it’s not twins, or worse… triplets.

Herp’s LTW is to master guitar and painting skills, so at some point, I had to buy him that guitar that I so cruelly sold back when we needed to buy a shower.
Herp: *is jamming*
Dexter: *is inserting himself into yet another picture*

Also, Herp is working out. Though it doesn’t do much good.
I thought we could all appreciate his shirt, though.

Didn’t I already potty train this one? But why then, would I take this picture…
Er, well, either way, both spawn were potty trained successfully.

Oh, wait, not yet Dina! I’m not ready!!!
Dina: Deeeeerp.

Dina: This labor thing is uncomfortable.
I’d think you’d be used to it by now, what since you’ve done it twice already.

Oh! And now I know why I took that picture of Wumbo. She had her birthday! And hasn’t grow into that frightening face of hers yet.
Wumbo: *rolls want to wash dishes*
Yep.
Wumbo rolled the “I really wish I weren’t here right now trait.” Just kidding! She actually rolled the hot-headed trait. Which, you know, could contribute to wishing one wasn’t here right now… no? Okay. *hangs head in shame*

Yep, that’s definitely a face that only a Derpington could love.

And, we can’t forget about her IF!

IF birthdays just seem more exciting to me than Sim birthdays. And look at those sparklies!
Pat: A hand!!!!!
Oh, boy, I forgot his name was Pat. He rolled that randomly, btw. Makes it even funnier that it happened.

I immediately send Wumbo to work on the new chemistry lab bench, so that she can discover the potion to turn IFs real (because, you know, there’s like 3 of them).

This is pretty much what she does her entire childhood. I’m a terrible person, BUT IT’S FOR HER OWN HAPPINESS, I SWEAR.

Okay, back to Dina.

And wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am, we welcome Weast into the world!
Dina: Weast?! I told Herp her name was East!
He must have misheard you, Dina… yeah, that was it.
Weast rolled the Insane and Brave traits. Should be interesting (this will actually be my first insane Sim!). Her favorites are Orange, Key Lime Pie, and Classical, pretty much a mix of her parents there. Her Zodiac sign is Virgo.

That brings us to the end of this segment, because of how I decided to break things up *shrug*. But what of that mysterious death hinted at by Grim on the first picture? Did Herp do Dina in?

Nah, some old Paparazzi (not our friend, though) decided to kick the bucket on the lot.

Grim: A little early for me to be here, isn’t it?
Yeah, but it wasn’t my fault. None of the Derpingtons died, anyway.

Grim: Oh, well, business is business.

Dina: WTF?
Yeah, me too, Dina. I was really confused when the camera just jumped to the other side of the lot and you went running outside.

Even Dexter mourned the random paparazzi… while the grave was still there, at least. It disappeared right after this picture.
